Summer in Cleveland means sunset doesn't happen until close to 9 pm in late June. That gives you a long stretch of soft, workable light for portraits, and it pushes golden hour into the later part of your reception instead of cutting your cocktail hour short.
The tradeoff is that midday sun between 12 and 3 pm is harsh and flat. If your ceremony lands in that window, I plan portrait sessions for later, closer to that golden light, rather than fighting the sun straight overhead.
